For over 77 years Madame Alexander dolls have prompted heart girls of all ages and collectors worldwide. They began by creating composition dolls with painted features and sleep eyes using molds face feature baby dolls to market creation dolls in honor of living persons. Based on a licensed character, it led to the creation of dolls based on characters from popular films. Pioneering the use of hard plastic for the creation of dolls, they introduced the first figure of haute couture (Cissy ™) which is always a lot of success so far.

Beatrice Alexander Behrman died in 1990 at the age of 95, but his legacy in the museums exhibits, such as the Smithsonian and the Brooklyn Children's Museum, and the private collections of doll lovers around the world, which does want nothing less than a Madame Alexander doll.
